The ceremony truly is the most important part of the wedding, although it is quite easy to forget that.  Here's what we have in mind so far:

We originally decided to have the traditional repeated vows.  However, after we attended the wedding of two of our close friends (knottie pinksonya), we're rethinking our vow choices.  Still up in the air- more on that later

Candle Ceremony

I love this idea! Its a great way to really involve the mothers. [His Mom and my Mom will light the small candles and then Steve and I will use those to light the large candle, 'uniting our families'.] I actually recieved a whole candle ceremony kit from Things Remembered for a engagement gift. The only thing is, I hate it.  I generally don't like things from that store at all for personal reasons. So I'm not sure if we'll be forced to use it since it was a gift, or if we can try to sell it to someone.

As far as decorating the church, it is already beautiful as it is, but we would like to add a little pizazz here and there. I like the idea of decorating the ends of the pews, just not sure how exactly. I do really like this picture tho- so maybe I'll do something like this with silks?

Aisle Runner

I do want to make an aisle runner to match our decor a little more than the red floor, however our pastor advised against it, I still have to ask why exactly.  So this is still up in the air as well. If we do have one, it will look similar to this, very simple- only without the flower petals.

Tissue Packets

I am definitely going to do something like this!  I know for sure that Steve's mother is a crier!  And if I am a product of my family, I'm sure there will be a good amount of criers attending.

'In Memory of' Candles

We are going to do this in order to honor our family and friends who have passed on. This will be a wonderful way to have them there in spirit.  I want to have big ones like this with pictures on them and then the littles ones around them- like the picture only in blue and green.
